Workshops
Educational sessions and workshops for Schools, Youth groups, Services, Corporates and anyone else who wants to have open discussions, ask questions and learn how best to support menstruators and provide education for all.
We've created several sessions which can be booked as one off workshops or as a package delivered over several weeks.
Each session has been designed to be engaging, interactive, open and honest to get the conversation started about important issues in a safe and inclusive environment.

What our workshops cover...
Sexual Health, Consent and Contraception
This session focuses on how we can have great sexual relationships in our lives. We tailor this to be appropriate for each age group and encourage critical thought, personal boundary setting and advocating for your needs.
Healthy Relationships with Values and Boundaries
This session provides a brave and caring space to consider the things in our lives that matter the most, including where our values lie and what happens when our needs aren’t met. It looks at how we communicate our needs with potential partners but more importantly anyone in our lives that we want a relationship with. We also look at communicating with neurodivergent partners.
Big Up Yourself
This session is full of fun, self care and love! We provide a space to unravel and build ourselves back up stronger than before. It is done in a creative and joyful way. We focus on body image and who's done us a dirty in terms of self doubt and look at ways in which we can challenge this going forward!
Period Power and Products
This session is different for each year group, but essential in any young person's journey! A space to learn about our bodies and the magic within them. We encourage girls and boys to be part of this session where they can learn about the things happening in their bodies or in their loved ones bodies. We get tactile with products and encourage young people to touch and feel all the different products available to them
The Pick and Mix of Porn
This session is about untangling and debunking some of the myths around sex and joy. We want people to have great, consensual & caring sexual encounters. Whether that be addressing your kinks or setting your limits we explore without shame and judgement. We look at how that transfers to real world experiences.
Fundraising Sessions
This session focuses on the ways we can fundraise for period inequality. We talk about the needs of menstruators and the barriers for them. We encourage organisations to think about ways they can make their workplace more inclusive for their menstruators. We also look at ways orgs can fundraise for us! Great for big organisations who want to do some good in their community.

Training
and Consultancy

Helping organisations change existing cultures and give hands on help.
We will always start with a chat to discuss what it is you want to achieve. From there we will create a bespoke package - These might be one-off sessions, advice and support or training packages to support an organisational culture change.
-
We can help you look at ways you can support the people in your organisation to create an inclusive and open environment.
-
We can up skill practitioners, teachers and youth workers to explore how they can deliver informative and empowering sessions across the service.
-
We can offer advice and guidance about what products you want to offer and how you can support individuals to make informed choices around what product is best for them.

See us in action
Seeing is believing, so here are a few snaps of what we do.

Lisa
Assistant Site Manager
Seddon Construction
“We loved having you on our Park Road site! It was such an amazing afternoon.
Everybody who attended has commented on how much they enjoyed it and had applauded the great job you two did at raising awareness of period poverty and the effect it can have on young girls and women in need.”
Helen
Youth Worker
Trafford Talkshop
The Crimson Wave delivered an informative, fun, and inclusive session all about period positivity to our youth group. The group are of all genders and not afraid to be vocal, ask questions and push boundaries. The Crimson Wave took this in their stride and never shied away from the facts, science and hard truths of a sometimes tricky subject, while still making it so engaging and such a laugh. The young people learned loads and frankly so did the staff!
Scott
Assistant Principal
Salford City Academy
thank you for coming into the academy yesterday to deliver vitally important sessions to our Year 10 students. I know that they took a huge amount from your sessions - there was some great feedback from both students and staff.

RECLAIM Project
I loved the Crimson Wave training session with Katie and Trish! Hearing their lived experiences and destigmatizing how we talk about periods made me feel so much better. Before this session I couldn't tell you where my vulva is.. now I am a vagina queen - the session was mega!
